Historic Washburn Grist Mill (1865) is located northeast of Kingston at Lower Brewers Lock on the Rideau Canal, Ontario’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site.  It has been restored and transformed into a unique artist's studio, mill museum and gallery shop, with beautiful grounds.  Visitors can enjoy a walk along the shores of the Rideau - the perfect setting to view Randal's stainless steel metal sculptures and whimsical garden art.

For over twenty years, Randal Doner has been designing metal art sculptures which enhance both indoor and outdoor living spaces.  His pieces are often whimsical, yet functional.  Life-sized figures depict musicians, butlers, athletes and playing children. His stainless steel work also includes garden accents, wall art, and custom pieces.

Darlene Doner creates sterling silver jewellery, incorporating pearls, raw uncut stones, polished gemstones, and silver nuggets. She specializes in accenting her designs with silver wire tangles. Her jewellery collection includes hand-crafted pendants, rings and earrings. Darlene also uses beads and wire to enhance garden items such as fairies, dragonflies and crystal suncatchers.

Voted one of the most amazing place to visit in Ontario!
